This hardy succulent is the perfect plant for beginners; just pop it in a bright spot and water every now and then. Aloe mitriformis grows in a compact rosette formation (although form can be variable) and has a crawling habit as it matures.
WATERING
In Summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two months). Spring gradually increase watering – depending on temp and light exposure.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year.
REPOTTING
Repotting is only necessary if and when the offsets have filled the pot, otherwise it can stay in the same pot for many years.
