American snowbell is a multi-stemmed shrub for areas with wet soils and full sun to part shade. Native to wet woods, streambanks, and marshes in the Southeast, American snowbell dazzles in mid-spring with its profusion of dangling white flowers that resemble little bells. Hardy in zones 6-8. Matures to 6-10′ tall and wide. Host plant to promethea moths.
