Bearberry Cotoneaster Coral Beauty

Cotoneaster dammeri ‘Coral Beauty’ is a fast-growing, prostrate, evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves densely covering the trailing stems that root as they touch the ground. Spring brings a profusion of white flowers followed by an abundance of ornamental bright orange-red berries in late summer that may persist through winter. Foliage may develop bronzy-purple tones in cooler temperatures. Coral Beauty Bearberry is attractive as a ground cover or cascading over walls. Useful on slopes for erosion control. Similar in appearance to ‘Lowfast’ but ‘Coral Beauty’ berries are not as red.
