Calathea Ornata (S)

The Calathea Ornata, as striking as its sister Calatheas, has a unique feature setting it apart: pink leaves! But don’t be fooled, it is hard work getting it to put those big beautiful leaves out. Just like any rock star there is a list of demands: a bright spot, no direct sunlight, regular misting of the leaves, fertilizer in summer and a little bit of water at just the right time! Fortunately this plant is a great communicator and will furl up its leaves to let you know when if it’s not getting enough moisture.
