The Pondmaster Pump Protection Bag is an economical, no-nonsense approach to protecting a submersible pump. Serving as a pond pump prefilter, this mesh bag is made from a sturdy polypropylene material that is easy to clean and clog-resistant.
Because the bag is available in 2 sizes (small and large), it can function as a pump prefilter that is universal to most pump brands, including horizontal, vertical, mag-drive, hybrid and direct drive pumps. The bag can be used in open water pump applications or in a skimmer to assist in pond water filtration. This bag can also prevent small pond fish from being pulled into the pump’s intake.
2 cable ties are included for closing and securing the top of the bag by weaving the ties through the mesh openings.
