A robust, early flowering variety with large, shapely flowers and one of the largest nivalis varieties. The inner marking appears as an inverted ‘V’ with broad, flat endsand the pedicel (thin stalk from main stem) is long and kinkedwhich carries the flower at an angleabove the foliage.
Prefers a moisture retentive but well-drainedsoil in sun or partial shade. Dormant by summer.A robust variety which clumps up well.
