Colorful Moon Cacti
Commonly known as ‘Hibotan’ or “Moon” cactus plants. This variant occurs when the plant lacks chlorophyll, causing the body color to manifest as beautiful pink, orange, yellow, or red rather than the typical green. It was discovered that these beautiful seedlings could not survive as they did not have chlorophyll and were therefore incapable of producing the necessary chemical changes that are involved in photosynthesis, resulting in vibrant coloration.
What to Expect
Each plant is hand-selected to ensure quality and variety. Your mix may include different types of succulents that vary in appearance and may not match the ones pictured. For an extra pop of color, place them in a sunny spot to encourage sun-stressing.
