Nectaroscordum siculum ssp. bulgaricum

(SICILIAN HONEY GARLIC) Bulbous perennial of distinction native to Italy and France. From clumps of blue green foliage come 3 tall, upright stems in late spring bearing exotic clusters of nodding, white bells heavily marked with burgundy. Best in dryish soils in sun (tolerates light shade) in well drained soils. A perfect Mediterranean! Easy to grow and very intriguing, especially since it is infrequently available!
