Papaver hybrida ‘Hungarian Blue’

Graceful poppy that dances in the breeze on 2-3stems…blooming in late spring to early summer with crepey purple petals with darker bases and chartreuse centers over silver green clumps of foliage. Beautiful seed pods are great in dried arrangements; light blue seeds with a nutty flavor area favorite in Hungarian dishes. Decent soil, sunshine and average water during growth and bloom. Reseeds.
