Vitax SBK Tree Stump Killer is a glyphosate free soluble concentrate designed to kill tree stumps and their roots to prevent regrowth. Part of the trusted SBK range it offers a strong solution for dealing with unwanted stumps, woody weeds and hardwood saplings in grassland and non crop areas. Each 250ml bottle treats up to eight stumps making it a practical option for smaller gardens and selective stump removal.
Apply during autumn and winter for stump treatment, avoiding April to June when sap is rising. For woody weeds apply from June to August when soil is moist and weeds are actively growing. SBK works by penetrating through the stump or foliage and travelling to the root system for long lasting control. A second treatment may be needed after six weeks. Once dry the area is safe for children and pets. Avoid planted areas and allow at least six weeks before replanting.
