A proven hardy selection graced with gorgeous lilac-blue flower clusters that are 8 to 12 inches long. A superb vine to use for covering a trellis, pillar, fence, rail, or arbor. Tolerates wet soils better, is more restrained, and tends to bloom an earlier age than Asian wisterias. Native to the southeastern United States. Deciduous.
