Agave colorata – Mescal Ceniza

Agave colorata short, blue-gray agaves with spoon-shaped leaves and distinct horizontal shaded striping (crossbanding) on the leaves. Becomes more pronounced as plants mature. Easy to grow and slower growing, they typically form nice tight rosettes. As plants reach maturity it is common for them to tip over slightly which makes room for pups or offsets from the base to eventually create a well-contained colony.
