Agave x ‘Nova’ (Agave celsii hybrid)
This agave has beautiful gun metal gray-green leaves that are 3-5in. wide and up to 1ft. long. Smooth, almost silky texture with tiny serrated marginal teeth and a short terminal spine. This unique Agave thrives in part to heavy shade and stays small making it a good choice for pots or dry shady planters. Some Agave ‘Nova’ we know of have tolerated temps in the high teens in ideal growing conditions.
