Agave oteroi ‘Oaxaca’ (Syn. Agave titanota)
Easily identified by its wide, white margins that seem to encircle the entire leaf, accenting its long, wickedly twisted sharp teeth. The leaves of Agave ‘Oaxaca’ are mostly green in color with white to tan colored gnarly marginal teeth. They are distinguished from true A. titanota which are more blue-gray in color. ‘Oaxaca’ plants are compact and rounded in shape. More sun, deeper soils and more water result in plants growing with a more open, wider habit. The leaves have a large, woody margin below the terminal spine. Excellent for planting in low bowls or any containers.
