Agave scabra hybrid ‘Sharkskin’
This is a very unique agave, gets its name Sharkskin from its rough leaf texture and stoutness. It forms a beautiful rosette and has thick leaves with smooth margins and a dark terminal spine. Agave scabra are known for easily hybridizing, and it’s not uncommon to see small variations in these Sharkskin hybrids. This agave tolerates full sun and is cold hardy to about 18°F.
