Aloe dichotoma (Aloidendron dichotoma)

An interesting South African Aloe with wide appeal for collectors and succulent growers. The quiver tree is a vertical growing, mostly single trunk Aloe that develop exposed fleshy, pealing stems. They grow well in containers as indoor/outdoor plants in all zones or as adaptable structural plants for frost-free coastal, inland or desert gardens and landscapes. Popular for bonsai. In the hottest low desert areas provide Quiver tree with part shade or protect from late afternoon, intense sunlight. Always plant in well-drained soil with minimal water. Hardy to 20°-25°F degrees. Moderate to low growing. **Ships as bare root, 5-6in. tall.
