Aloe ramosissima (Aloidendron ramosissima)

An interesting South African Aloe with wide appeal for collectors since they are thought to be a subspecies of Aloe dichotoma. The maiden’s quiver are mostly vertical growing Aloes that develop interesting exposed fleshy, pealing stems. They grow well in containers as indoor/outdoor plants in all zones or as adaptable structural plants for frost-free gardens and landscapes. Popular for bonsai. In the hottest low desert areas provide these aloes with part shade or protect from late afternoon, intense sunlight. Always plant in well-drained soil. Water minimally during cool months and winter. Hardy to 20°-25°F degrees. Slow growing. **Shipped as bare root, 5-6in. tall.
