Zephyranthes candida
An underutilized, Survivor Plant, White Rain Lily is a bulbous perennial boasting silvery white, crocus-like flowers, 2 in. across, adorned with rich gold to orange stamens in late summer and early fall. Blooming in succession, they sit atop upright stems rising above a tuft of narrow, grass-like, bright green cylindrical leaves. This beauty is perfect for rock gardens, front borders, and in containers. Divide and underplant the bulbs with Agaves, yucca, ocotillo, or other succulents for a delightful pop-up to surprise you flower display. Evergreen in mild winter areas. Hardy, easy to grow.
