Agave utahensis ssp. kaibabensis
The Agave is a rare, subspecies native to the Kaibab Plateau of AZ. They are relatively small, clump-forming Agaves growing to 2ft around. They have narrow green leaves 12-20in. long, 1-3in. wide white marginal teeth with sharp terminal spines. During colder temperatures some leaves display attractive purple hues. These handsome plants are slow growing and eventually form round rosette shape. Plants are mostly solitary but some may form pups.
