This native selected rugged, cold hardy, grass features blue-green foliage and striking, flag-like, golden summer flower/seed heads on stiff, weather-resistant stems. ‘Gila Silver’ provides cool-season interest, as the long-lasting blonde seed heads remain through winter. Tolerant of many soil types, this is a perfect choice for low-maintenance landscapes. Easy to grow and adaptable. Better suited to high & low desert AZ landscapes than other copycat Blue grama grasses on the market.
