Opuntia microdasys v. albispina
The White Bunny Ears Prickly Pear has flat, thin, round pads that are velvety green, with polka-dot glochids of white. (other selections have yellow or cinnamon-colored bristles) These cacti are very tough, drought tolerant, and can form a large patch if allowed to. They bloom in the spring and pollinated flowers are followed by red fruits. They also make great, easy-to-care-for container plants. Indoor/outdoor houseplants in all zones.
