Pachycereus pringlei –
A Cardon is a tall giant of the Sonoran desert. Its overall appearance is reminiscent of our native iconic Saguaro, but it branches more right from the base. Equally slow growing, they have gray-green waxy flesh, and their ribs are armed with areoles sporting silvery-colored spines up to 5” long. Large white flowers appear in the summer, and an occasional crest-like growth may occur. (12-18in. tall – shipped bare root)
